Position Overview 

As a CFO Partner, you’ll be the primary face of Till CFO to our clients, providing strategic financial leadership tailored to their unique goals. Collaborating closely with the Head of Service Delivery and supported by a team of specialists (Accounting, FP&A, Treasury), you’ll ensure clients experience exceptional, data-driven CFO services. This role suits a financially savvy leader who values both independent problem-solving and the power of succinct, high-quality collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Client Leadership: Act as the primary CFO advisor for assigned clients—leading financial strategy, modeling, budgeting, and risk management discussions. 
• Service Delivery Oversight: Coordinate with Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury teams to execute on monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables—ensuring seamless integration and consistent excellence. 
• Strategic Insights: Translate complex financial analyses into actionable recommendations for clients, guiding them through pivotal decisions (fundraising, scaling, M&A, etc.). 
• Asynchronous Collaboration: Use clear written documentation, asynchronous tools, and artificial intelligence driven applications to manage projects and communicate with clients and internal teams. 
• Capacity & Profitability: Monitor staffing needs, client profitability, and scope alignment; proactively address resource challenges in partnership with the Head of Service Delivery. 
• Relationship Building: Maintain trust through regular, concise updates and thorough analyses, fostering long-term client partnerships built on consistent value and transparent communication.

Qualifications 

• 7+ years in finance leadership roles (CFO, Controller, FP&A Director, or similar).
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) with a preference for clear, concise, asynchronous collaboration. 
• Track record of thriving in distributed teams; adept at self-management and proactive problem-solving. 
• CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred (but not required) if accompanied by significant relevant experience.
